Okami is one of the best games you could ever own. From its great storyline, to its amazing graphics, you can't beat this game. The story follows the Japanese Shinto goddess Amaterasu after her fight with Orochi. After Orochi's demise, 100 years of peace follow. However, someone stole the sword sealing Orochi in thinking it was just a legend. Seeing the destruction that followed, a tree spirit revived Amaterasu, who was also killed in the fight. You play as Amaterasu in wolf form, and you are trying to stop Orochi from taking over again. The game features one of the most original combat systems ever. It has the normal way to kill, or you can "paint." Painting involves stopping time (with the exception of a few bosses) so you can draw objects (such as bombs) and it appears out of nowhere.You gain the ability to draw more objects as the game goes on. The music is also noteworthy (pun intended), as it matches up with the scenery, and juts flows seamlessly together.
